Pastor Lorrie Ghering-Burick began serving FPC on August 1, 2019. She now leads Bible and book studies for FPC and community in person.
Pastor Lorrie grew up in Zelienople, PA and found her way into ministry via her home church, Calvin Presbyterian. She holds a B.A. from Carlow College and an M.Div. from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. She served churches in PA and in the lovely Outer Banks of North Carolina. While between pulpits, Lorrie answered the call to launch a singles ministry where she met her husband, Daniel Burick. Daniel is a native of New Castle and has spent his career as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in regional PA and OH hospitals. Together, they share a blended family of 9, including a three-year-old granddaughter, 4 daughters 3 sons, a daughter-in-law, and a Dutch son-in-law. They also have a loving companion, their dog, Cocoa.
